Hurricane, water coming in during the night...

Good Morning all!

Thursday today. The rain last night was rather heavy, could not sleep well. Also some rain came in, so put a bucket under the ventilator middle of the caravan. Otherwise ok. I am waiting for the sun to come out and dry the airfield and the caravan!!! Also I would like to get my feet off the ground. I have not been in a glider since November last year!!!

I only spent the nights in a caravan, after waking up I walk to the clubhouse The Dick Stratten room with the computer and take it from there. Breakfast, perhaps walking to the shop etc. All depend on the weather. I have heard that flying days we get the kit out at 8.30am and take it to the launch point.

The Hurricane is in a hanger. They may do some more flying and filming today. Filming is done for a Canadian company and is 6 part series. Douglas Bader is on subject, all the others are Canadians. Eventually it will come out on Channel 5 and is called something like Air Heroes of the Sky.

I think tonight I need to take a shower and wash my hair! I have look at myself in a looking glass! Somehow it don't seem to matter, we are all very scruffy here!

First photo something to read, to take my tablet in the morning and water bottle! Then there is Hurricane and the film set sorting out today's task in a hanger. May fly may not. We will see.
