On Sunday, the 29th of July

Last Friday morning at 8.12am Big Ben chimed for 3 minutes to celebrate the Olympics. People all over the country rang all kinds of bells! Pity that I did not think about it earlier, I could have gathered all kinds of bells and started a hell of a racket for 3 minutes! Had I done that, Shakespeare would have turned in his grave in the Chapel and shouted "Be not afeared: the isle is full of noises". That's what he wrote in the Tempest.

Today is nearly back to the normal weather. There has been some sun, clouds and occasional rain showers. The weather forecast is promising rain, rain, rain, rain....

That offending drinking bottle...

Today I was mistaken to be an alcoholic, drunken middle age witch, when I  drank from this bottle in a tube... the full story  is told in the  first posting.... I have also used this bottle in a airfield drinking there. I always try to cover the label with my hand. This is my favorite drinking bottle. I mean my favorite water drinking bottle.

First some photos and do read todays writing post after that... I was mistaken for a drunken woman...

Iida and Anna at Camden Market yesterday.

Same as before.

Iida and Anna at Harrods today looking for shoes.

In front of Harrods, Iida having a sandwich and Anna having a fag...

The girls.

A shoe at Harrods, the print is a Finnish one, called Poppy. Very popular design which is used very widely on all sort of items.

Iida and Anna writing their names on Diana´s and Dodi´s book.

As before.

Anna writes her name.

On Monday afternoon people thought I am a sad alcoholic....

The plan was to go to Big Ben, House of Parliament etc with Iida and Anna, but it started raining, so instead we went to Harrods to look at Vivienne Westwood clothes. So, got there, but they don´t stock her clothes! Anyway, it was a good experience for the girls, they have not been to Harrods before. There were a book of   Princes Diana and Dody to leave them greetings, so wrote our names on it!

I was reading the Metro magazine and found out that David Hasselhoff is the same age than I am!

Then, on the way to Piccadilly Circus in a tube, I decided to empty half of bottle of water into my drinking bottle which is a Gin bottle. I was pouring the water into it very secretly between my tummy and a bag on my knees. I suppose it looked suspicious as it looked like I was trying to hide it. But for me it was the safest thing to do, as the train was rocking. Two middle aged ladies, next to me, started laughing and hiding behind their newspaper... they thought it was so funny, when this alcoholic woman cannot wait and is pouring tonic water into the gin there and then and then starts drinking it in full view of everyone!!! Those 2 women had fun, they really were laughing their heads off... my reputation has gone....

I will add few photos in few minutes...

On Monday, 16th of July

Olympics... the competitors have started arriving to London!

I will take the girls to House of Parlament, Big Ben etc today. Perhaps Harrods, too. To see Vivienne Westwood clothes.

On Wednesday, 11th of July, visitors from Finland

I arrived to London today and on the way I was so wondering what is wrong with the mobile, no signal! So the girls could not contact me, I had arranged to meet my niece and her friend at the Golders Green tube station, so I had to walk to Anita´s place and borrow her phone to phone Iida. Iida and Anna has just arrived to Golders Green so I walked back to fetch the girls.

Later I got to know that 02 network is down, and still is.
